Hello! I'm Taylor, the owner of By Taylor Goulart ♡ I got my first camera (a Canon T3i) from my parents for my 13th birthday and would take photos of family members whenever I had the chance to make sure those memories were documented. Fast forward to 2024 while working full-time as a property manager, I realized I wanted to do something that brought people joy, and next thing I know, my passion for photography was rekindled!
Thank you for being here. Seeing love all around me and having the opportunity to freeze frames of happiness is such a blessing. I can't wait to meet you and create memories that you and your loved ones will cherish forever.
What inspires me
While growing up, my grandma made multiple scrapbooks for us grandchildren. Now that I'm older and constantly feel myself wishing I could re-live old memories, I've come to appreciate the photos that take me back to those moments.
I guess you could say I'm a sentimentalist because
I love meeting new people and documenting their lives for their future scrapbooks or picture frames!
I 10000% appreciate everyone who has trusted me to capture their stories through my photography. It’s an honor to freeze those moments in time, and I couldn't ask for a more fulfilling job.
MY FAVORITE THINGS
When I’m not behind the camera, I love reading, traveling, and hanging out with friends and my boyfriend. I also stream Dead by Daylight and Fortnite once in a while. Most of the time, you’ll find me on the couch watching a thriller movie or Bridgerton with Jacob and our dog, Winnie, who always steals the best seat!
I’m always itching to hop on a plane! I’m currently based in San Diego but grew up in Hawaii and love going back to visit family. If you need a shoot somewhere outside my usual spots, count me in!
Behind the Lens
I’m a pretty laid-back person and always up for an adventure! During our session or your wedding day, I want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the moment without any pressure. All I need from you is to show up as yourself and to be present in the moment.
My photography style is driven by each couple's individual story, so no two shoots will look exactly the same. My editing leans a little darker and earthy (I love rich colors and a moody vibe!) I'll guide you with fun prompts that make everything feel natural and will capture meaningful details and all the emotions!
